Nightly Beauty Routine

For a while now I haven't had a set nighty routine... I was just pure lazy. I literally had a shower, washed my makeup off and went to bed. Nowadays I can not sleep unless I've gone through my whole beauty routine. Ok so maybe I forget once or twice.

Dettol Profresh soap in Peach Burst, Oral-B 3D WHITE LUXE in Glamorous White, Essano Organ Oil Morocco Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner

The soap I've been loving lately is the Dettol Profresh soap in Peach Burst, to be honest it's just Devine. What I like most is that it makes my bathroom smell of sweet peaches, so there's not much else to say about a great smelling soap.

For toothpaste I've been using the Oral-B 3D WHITE LUXE in Glamorous white. This stuff is incredible, after the first use there's a noticeable colour change. I've always had issues with my teeth from a young age, which I've found that lately in photos I'm actually smiling with my teeth, who would have know? This is something that I've never done as my teeth have been an insecurity practically all my life. So this is one product I'm always telling who ever I can to buy it because it has defiantly made a big impact on my teeth.

As I've bleached my hair for a while now its brittle and lifeless. Its split ends galore at the moment so whatever shampoo and conditioner thats moisturising is what I really need and maybe a good chop. My Mum recommended the Essano Argan Oil of Morocco Nourishing Shampoo and Conditioner. Since I've started using these my hair has seemed to be less straw like, and it smells amazeballs. The scent is a mix between cotton candy and spices, I don't really know how to describe it but its just amazing.

Dove Summer Glow, Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa Glow

On my holiday last month I got quiet the tan, that I ultimately wanted to keep... minus the burning in the sun part. No one wants that. So digging through my endless draw of moisturisers I found these two. The Dove Summer Glow and Vaseline Intensive Care Cocoa glow, these products used together give a nice even glowing tan. I don't particularly like to use the Dove one on its own as I have found that since my skin is extremely dry this didn't seem to be quiet enough. So I decided that I might try using the Vaseline one over the top. And I've never gone back, the Vaseline is of a runny consistency (Very hard to try not get it on the navy carpet) and very moisturising. Also who doesn't like the smell of cocoa, its just so good.My skin has never been this smooth and moisturised ever.

Micellar Cleansing Water, Origins Never A Dull Moment Exfoliator, Origins Clear improvement Charcoal Mask

To remove my makeup at night I've been using the Micellar Cleansing Water on a couple cotton pads. This works a treat, everything wipes straight off! Also unlike other makeup removers it doesn't leave the skin feeling dry and stiff. I have found that sometimes there seems to be the smallest bit of mascara around my eyes but thats soon removed with my cream cleanser so that doesn't really worry me at all. I've also found that this product is great for sensitive skin, like around the eye area.

Twice a week I use the Origins Never a Dull Moment Exfoliator and their Clear Improvement Charcoal Mask, this is usually on a Sunday and a Thursday. The exfoliator has papaya extracts, apricot and mango seeds giving it a tropical fruity scent. I feel like I'm on holiday smelling this, I love it. It also leaves my skin feeling refreshed and polished which I've found that not all exfoliators do, they just feel as if you've scrubbed off half your face. The consistency is very thick and kind of hard to evenly distribute around, I've found that I've got to rub it between my hands a lot before I massage in.

I absolutely love this coal mask, I love how it apply's and how it washes off. I've found that it comes off smoothly and unlike some drying masks it doesn't require much effort. Oddly enough I also like the scent of this product. The product claims that 'skin 'breathes a sign of relief' and it truly feels like it does just that.

Elemis Balancing Lime Blossom Cleanser, Elemis Balancing Lavender Toner, L'oeal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Night Cream

The Elemis Balancing Lime Blossom Cleanser and the Balancing Lavender Toner has been a god sent. I think that most young girls and guys haven't got a clue when it came to a skincare routine, as there is soooo much information out there. Last month I went on a family cruise, one morning my Mum and I went to a pamper party where the spa ladies spoke about skincare. We used some of the products that they use on board and I was surprised at how great my skin felt afterwards.

The cream cleanser glides on smoothly, sinking deeply into the skin, leaving a very moisturised feel. It also smells of a creamy lime mixed with a dash of different floral scents. This to me is a must have, it just seems to make my skin ten times smoother and healthier than it used to be. The toner literally smells like I would image a field of lavender, it defiantly gets me sleepy and ready for bed. I've never used a toner before so this is new to me but I feel as if this toner is working very well with the cleanser. Since using these twice daily I've noticed that my skin is much more clearer only having a few breakouts every so often. Although for the last few nights I've fallen asleep before using these so my skin has broken out majorly, so defs need to make sure I stick to using these constantly.

The moisturiser I've been using is the L'oreal Paris Age Perfect Cell Renewal Night Cream, to be honest I've never found a moisturiser that I really love so any cool or new suggestions are very welcome. But I've been using this one for about three months now and I still kind of don't like it, although I don't hate it. I think it's the smell of the product, its kind of sweet but also fresh, I don't know really. Also the consistency is very thick to any others that I've tried and it seems to be still on the surface of my skin as I wake up in the morning. Although I must say that my skin does feel very moisturised.

So that was my nightly beauty routine I hope that I showed you anything new or gave you any inspiration to change up your routine. If you would like, leave a comment of any products you've either tried or want to try.
