Happy Monday! A fresh week is upon us, does anyone else gets motivated on a Monday? Something that gets me motivated for the week is to do my makeup most mornings, so I thought I would share what I've been using most of the time.

This makeup bag came in a set with a bigger one from Colette, and I love it. I take it with me while travelling so that everything is in one place.

Primer:
Nude by Nature airbrush Mineral Primer: I love this primer as it's very smooth and creamy. I've also seen a difference in how long my makeup lasts throughout the day. It also smells gorgeous. There's hardly any left in the chub so I defs need to get some more.
Foundation:
Maybelline New York Fit Me! Dewy+Smooth in Ivory. Before I had purchased this one I only ever used Matte finish foundations which I found were giving me a flat look. This shade is a little lighter than my skin colour but it does an okay job at the moment. It definitely gives a nice medium coverage and a little goes a long way. The only thing is it doesn't have a PUMP, which is so damn annoying. There have been countless times where I've poured way too much out and it goes everywhere.
Concealer:
Maybelline New York Fit Me! Concealer in Light. I used to have another one of these in a darker shade but its empty and I haven't gone to get another one, which I must do! This concealer covers blemishes and dark circles easily. I usually use the light colour for just under the eye but as the other shade is empty I've been using it on blemishes but it's a tiny bit of light.

Brows:
Maybelline New York Master Brow Pro Palette in soft brown. I've never used any other brow products so I cant compare it to anything but I really like how it has both a wax and powder combo with a highlight. As my hair is bleach blonde at the moment using both wax and powder is too dark so I've opted to just use the powder. The powder has a creamy feel to it and is very pigmented. While I was a brunette I did find that the wax is very thick and clumpy, which meant I have to constantly wash my angled brushes. I never use the highlighter that often but it does give a very subtle uplift effect.
Eyeshadow:
Too Faced Chocolate Bar. I love LOVE this palette, it just smells like heavenly chocolate. This palette goes everywhere with me, If I travel I only need this one as it can create so many different great looking combos. The only colours that I don't particularly like are Strawberry Bon Bon and Candied Violet. I mostly stick to the browns as I like a more natural look. I also use the White Chocolate to set my under eye concealer as it kind of brightens my under eyes. Idk if I should but that's what I've been using of late. The eyeshadow has a very creamy texture and has great pigmentation. Overall this is a must-have in my makeup bag.

Eyeliner:
NYX Super Skinny eye marker in Carbon Black and the w7 King Kol eyeliner pencil in Blackest Black. I changed my mind at least a million times a day so naturally, I can never make up my mind about what eyeliner I like the best. I have found that the NYX one dries out VERY quickly, this is the second one I've used. With the w7 one, you can't go over eyeliner that's been previously applied as it just seems to wipe it off and smudge everywhere. I'm still trying to find an eyeliner that I'm happy with but these will have to do for the time been.

Mascara:
Max Factor Velvet Volume Mascara and the Rimmel London Scandal eyes Rockin' Curves. These two used together give heaps of volume and I love it. It clumps but doesn't give the 'I've got a whole bottle of mascara on my lashes' look. Can we all just look at the Rimmel's wand... it's scary AF.

Contour:
NYX Highlight and Contour Pro Palette and w7 Matte Bronze. As you can see the NYX palette has been my go-to for a while. I've definitely got my money's worth out of it. The three that I've used up a are the peachy toned higlighter which was just gorgeous, a yellow powder and a grey toned contour colour. So now I've been using the second highlighter and for contour, I've been using the first colour on the left in conjunction with the w7 bronzer. I mostly use the w7 bronzer to contour as of late because it seems to be matching my skin more.

Blush:
Sleek Blush in Rose Gold, Australis Show Some Cheek Blush in Dreamy, Max Factor Blush in Seductive Pink and the Revlon Highlighting Palette in Peach Glow. As you can tell I like using different blushes all the time. I've been using the Revlon highlighter as a blush as it gives a pretty little peachy glow to the cheeks. The Australis blush is my go too for a bright matte blush, this is very pigmented and is used very sparingly. How beautiful is the Sleek blush? It gives a beautiful pink glow and this is also very pigmented. I haven't used the Max Factor blush much as I love the others way too much so I'm still figuring out if its something for me, but it is a very pretty light pink colour.

Lips:
Nyx Lingerie in 04 Ruffle Trim, Rimmel London Kate Moss Lipstick in number 11, BH Cosmetics Waterproof lip liner in Spiced and Revlon Colourstay Moisture Stain in Parisian Passion, Shanghai Sizzle and Cannes Crush. Rimmel Kate Moss lipstick in number 11. These are lip products that I've either used recently or regularly reach for. I normally wear the NYX liquid lipstick on a day-to-day basis as it's a nice matte nude colour for an everyday look. Its a mix of pink and brown tones which I've found looks great with my skin tone. It's long lasting although not smudge proof. As with most matte liquid lipstick it's very drying on the lips which do make the cracks in my lips very visible. I also find that sometimes it I've put just a bit too much on it clumps up and sometimes I find that it isn't easy to remove. But I love this product and is a definite go to.
This Rimmel lipstick is just gorg. I love wearing this when I go out at night time and compliments any outfit. It's just a classic dark red which I just can't live without. I have soooo many different red lipsticks but this one just seems to be the one I tend to wear. I usually line my lips with the BH cosmetics liner and I'm good to go.
These three Revlon Stains are just lovely to use, they are like a very pigmented coloured gloss without all the stickiness mess. These are so moisturising for the lips and a different alternative to the very boring lip balm. I must say they are very pigmented and a little goes a long way, sometimes I just use a little and smudge it onto my lips gives them a nice subtle pigmentation.
So here's what I keep in my makeup bag for easy access. What's a makeup item you can't live without? I definitely can't live without my mascara.
